Starting Ran-Doe…
The rules for using Ran-Doe. Short version: be 18+, be cool, don't break the law.
Updated May 2026.
Ran-Doe is operated by Azalea Cyber Development, a registered partnership based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ("Ran-Doe", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't, don't use Ran-Doe. We can change these Terms; when a change is significant we update the date above, and continued use means you accept it.
You must be 18 or older. Before you enter we ask your date of birth and you confirm you're an adult — this is a self-declaration, not formal ID verification. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 and can cut off anyone we believe is. Some countries set a higher minimum age or restrict services like this; you're responsible for checking it's legal for you to use Ran-Doe where you are.
The Privacy Policy has the full list, including how we handle IP addresses and what we never collect.
By filing a report you confirm it is truthful and made in good faith. You agree we can capture and store the screenshot.
If you're banned and believe it was a mistake, email hello@randoe.chat. We'll tell you the general reason and a person will review it.
You keep the rights to whatever you say. You give us permission to store and display your messages inside Ran-Doe, store reports for safety review, and share content with law enforcement if legally required.
The Ran-Doe platform itself, including the bot and all the code, belongs to us. Don't copy, modify, or redistribute it.
Trademarks and non-affiliation. Ran-Doe is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Apple, or any other company. The site's retro desktop styling is an original homage and is not connected to any operating-system vendor. Any third-party product names, brands, or trademarks that appear (for example, when describing which devices and browsers Ran-Doe supports) are the property of their respective owners and are used only descriptively.
Recording or capturing other users without consent is not allowed. The only exception is our report screenshot. Anyone who records other users gets a permanent ban. That covers:
We have zero tolerance for any sexual content involving minors. Where we become aware of it we preserve the evidence, permanently ban everyone involved, and report it to the authorities the law requires — including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Canada's tipline at Cybertip.ca — and cooperate with law enforcement. See the Privacy Policy for more.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH NO WARRANTIES. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
You might run into things you don't like. You use Ran-Doe at your own risk. Some places don't allow these exclusions; where that's you, they apply only as far as the law allows, and your mandatory consumer rights stay intact.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAN-DOE AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at $100 USD. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law — such as for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
To the extent permitted by the law where you live, you agree to cover us against any claims, damages, or fees (including legal fees) that come out of:
When access ends, your right to use Ran-Doe ends. Sections that are meant to survive will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If something goes wrong, email us first at hello@azaleacd.ca — most issues get sorted that way. Disputes that can't be resolved between us go to the courts of Alberta, Canada.
Ran-Doe is operated from Canada and provided from there. We make no claim that it is appropriate or available for use in every country — some places restrict or ban services like this. If you choose to use Ran-Doe, you do so on your own initiative and you're responsible for following the laws that apply to you. If it isn't legal for you where you are, don't use it.
Prohibited locations. You may not use Ran-Doe if you are located in, or are ordinarily resident in, any country or region subject to comprehensive Canadian or U.S. economic sanctions or embargoes (which currently include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), or if you are on a Canadian or U.S. restricted-party or sanctions list. You also may not use Ran-Doe from anywhere its use, or a service like it, is illegal where you are. By using Ran-Doe you confirm none of these apply to you. We can block access from any location at our discretion, and access from a prohibited location is at your own risk and does not put us in breach of anything.
Nothing here takes away the mandatory consumer-protection rights, or the right to bring a claim before a regulator or court in your own country of residence, that the law gives you.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and Ran-Doe.
